2011 CRR - Reflection

Brethren,

The 2011 Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal (CRR) was held last night at Temple Lodge 6 with almost 80 people in attendance. The evening started with a wonderful Itialian themed dinner, introduction of visiting digintaries to include the New Mexico SGIG, Grand Master of Masons in New Mexico, NM Grand Lodge Officers and Appendant Bodies Grand Line Officers.

Immediately following dinner - Scottish Rite Brethren, Masons, families, friends and guests entered the Temple 6 Lodge Room and observed the ASRITE Ritual Team perform the Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal for the 45 Scottish Rite Brethren who passed on during the last year.

The evening concluded with refreshments and a social gathering back in the Temple 6 Dining Room where the silent auction benefiting the Valley of Santa Fe wrapped up and silent auction winners were announced.

It was a very nice evening for all in attendance, and the members of ASRITE were greatly honored to have been a part of this joint venture between the Valley of Santa Fe Chapter Rosé Croix and our Club.

ASRITE would like to thank all of our members and supporters for making the 2011 CRR an overwehlming success, and we look forward to honoring those of our number who may journey on before us over the next year.

CRR Tomorrow Night

Tomorrow night is the 2011 Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal (CRR) at Temple Lodge 6, and we currently have over 74 RSVP's to include the New Mexico SGIG, New Mexico Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, several New Mexico Grand Lodge Officers and family members of our recently deceased Brethren.

CRR Update - Dinner RSVP

Brethren, Family and Guests:

Today is the last day to RSVP for the 2011 Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal (CRR) dinner, being hosted at Temple Lodge 6 on Friday, March 25th, starting at 6:00 p.m.

We would like to ensure everyone who attends has an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful meal we are preparing - and to do so we need an accurate count on numbers. Dinner is $20 per person or $30 per couple, and the menu is as follows:

2011 Ceremony of Remembrance & Renewal

Friday, March 25th, 2011 starting at 6:00 p.m. is the Orient of New Mexico, Valley of Santa Fe, Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal. This ceremony is usually held each year at the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple by the Santa Fe Chapter Rosé Croix to remember our recently deceased Scottish Rite Brethren.

This year however, the Ceremony will be held in Albuquerque at Temple Lodge 6, and will be supported by the Albuquerque Scottish Rite Club (ASRITE). Widows and families of our recently deceased Brethren will be invited to attend the ceremony; as well as the Grand Master of Masons in NM, Grand Lodge Officers, and Appendant Bodies Grand Line Officers. Though the Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal is related to Scottish Rite Freemasonry, it is not limited to just our members. In fact - it is a public ceremony and all Masons, their ladies, and guests may be invited to attend this ceremony and invitations will be sent to Lodges within the 6th Masonic District of New Mexico and surrounding areas.

This is a great honor and privilege for ASRITE and its members to participate in this ceremony, and we look forward to seeing everyone in attendance.
